Stock Gifts
Donating appreciated stock or other assets can offer significant tax advantages. Contact us for transfer details.
IRA Contribution
Annual withdrawals from traditional retirement accounts are required after age 70½, and the penalty for skipping a required minimum distribution is significant. By donating money from your IRA directly to Climate Central you can avoid income tax on required withdrawals. For more information about IRA contributions, please contact us.
Planned Giving
Two popular ways to give are through a will or living trust. Please contact us for sample language. You can also support Climate Central by naming us as a beneficiary on a life insurance policy, retirement plan or commercial annuity. Your planned gift may have important estate tax benefits and attractive income benefits for you or your heirs, all while establishing a lasting personal legacy. Please contact Jessica Cashdan, Vice President for Development, for more information.
